Sweet potato surprise and hope delight

Thanks EG and others. followed your method of container growing. Had to be real careful cause the Beauregards are thin skinned. So use my hands then had to resort to "shaking back and forth " the two totes. dirt was so dry. It was a mixture of different bags. Like manure, compost, top soil, MG potting soil, garden soil, my dirt, Peat etc. All were broken half off or more bags from big box store. All but some of my regular dirt. Plus maybe some natural fertilizer once or twice BUT MOST IMPortant RAINWATER. in my opinion. Hand dipping rainwatwer on plants when the drought started.

quite often I believe 2 or 4 or so plants in each container. Totes are different sizes. I would have planted more plants but several of my bought plants had died etc cause I took so long, finally getting them planted

I guess I left them in too long??? I also believe at least one plant was from a bought sweet potato eye I had rooted

Now the real test will be taste .....Right??? after curing.

I thought I had better check on them since EGs blog etc mentioned "football" size Sweet potatoes.
