Found the rooster ($15), butterfly (3rd pic)($4), picket fence($4), and baluster post ($1) at an estate sale yesterday. I love the rooster!

My best find was a doll I went to get, she was $85 and I already sold her for $975!! WooHoo!

The other items are TS finds, most were 49-99 cents.

Having trouble getting some of your pictures to load Dolly...not sure why, but the treasures I see are looking good. I'll try back later and see if the others will load.

Sometimes projects just do not work out grrrrr...I tried this new spray paint on the lamp...it was Rustoleum hammered spray paint and it has a funky spray nozzle that literally takes 2 hands to work...then the stupid little nozzle broke off so paint went everywhere...I highly do NOT recommend this paint...then when I finally got it all painted the top part of the lamp would not sit on the base correctly....then I realized that is why they threw it away... so there was not way I could plant it because it just kept falling over as soon as I put dirt in the lamp shades double grrr...oh well it had sat on the curb geting wet for several days before I rescued it so I would not have wanted anyone else to get it and accidentally plug it in and get zapped...I hope I am not the only one who had a project not work out

Thank you everyone! Before finding this place, I never really decorated for any holiday except Christmas. Ya'll have inspired me! Now if I could just find some more hiding places for the new stuff that somehow finds it's way home with me. My husband says that UPS and Fed Ex have their GPS coordinates set by the location of my house. LOL! Jane, I've discovered the trick for the candy. I just tell my family that they can eat all of it that they want and they don't touch it! But if I tell them "hands off" until after the holiday, they're constantly sneaking behind my back taking candy. Luvs, have you looked on ebay for a matching sugar and creamer for your teapot? Robins, I'm hoping to one day get rid of the hoosier. I live in an older home and that side of the kitchen has no cabinets. The house originally belonged to my husband's grandmother and she had her dining table sitting where I have the island. On the wall where I have the hoosier is where she had her china cabinet so that's why no cabinets. I've been not so subtly hinting to my husband that it's way past time to remodel the kitchen and put cabinets all around the room. I think he's ignoring me.

Cathy, considering how much flash flooding we've had lately, I suppose it's also ''unfair'' that we have a dry basement! We started looking at houses one year after the 1993 floods, and could tell wet basements were a real problem around here. (When in doubt, look for the house at the top of a hill, keep those drains and gutters clear, and grade away from your house!) One benefit of tonight's rain is the double rainbow I got a fantastic picture of right out my back door. I don't get to see many of those. Pam, if we did remodel, I'd be the one who is dedtired. We still live in Dorothy-land, so I'm trying to clear a habitable space in case of inclement (tornado) weather. Right now, I won't even go down there.

The tall one is definitely tall enough for pasta. It's the size of a large pasta pot (without the strainer). I didn't know it had a non-stick coating....I thought it was the colour of the pot. I'm still not 100% positive. There no chips, or wear spots anywhere on the inside, that's how I wasn't (and still not sure). I bought it for browning meat, and making stews and sauces; can never have enough tall pots. If it's nonstick, I'd better not use it for browning (or at least at a high heat!)

Nice Haul. Especially the price you sold that doll for.
WOW, absolutely fantastic.

I like all your goodies, but am drawn to the red swan thinking what a neat totem topper that would be.

I can see why you fell in love with that chicken! I love it! But then that bug and rusty butterfly are great too. I see a lot of glass flowers in your future. I guess your doll purchase more than paid for it all!

What is that last thing pictured?

Karen, great minds think alike! When I found the swan, totem topper was exactly what I thought! The ceramic frog and angel will be toppers also.

The last item intrigued me, I'm not sure what it is/was?? Looks like it could have had a mirror maybe and the piece in front held a candle. I thought it might possibly work as a gazing ball stand

Love the rooster & both butterflies & all the great plates & totem toppers! I thought that last thing might be a seat with a iron almost circular seat probably with a round lightly padded circle with 4 things that attach over the iron piece(saw something on that order once but maybe not strong enough or big enough to be that-kind of ice cream parlor look). Great plant stand anyway! That was some doll!!What a weekend you had!! Jan

I love the rooster, but I am most drawn to the last pic the iron thingy, I don't know what that was but it has so much potential!

Gotta cast my vote as liking the rooster the best. Lots of unique totem toppers.....somehow my trips to the TS always has me thinking totems.....just gotta force myself to get busy and quit buying till I do get some made.

1st & last pics are my fav items, too! That rooster is something to crow about! That last pc I could see some sort of figurine on ... or a cement ball ... or a potted plant...looks cool. Looks like you hit the $$$ jackpot at that estate sale!
