Glad you got your pics back up. I really enjoyed them. I need some red bottles now...but most are painted. I think your Burrows tail is different than my donkey tail and I need to take a pic and maybe we can trade. Ah some days I wished I had stopped with my first marriage and 2 sons and just had a long time to play...but I would not trade my second DH and 3 kids and all these grand and great grandkids. Red bottles I got were from Redmond, WA, grocery store, they had some kind of water in them. Do a search for bluee bottles or bottled water and they will come up, I got my blue ones and then found out the same water also came in red ones! I can't remember the name, started with a T I think..If I find it, I'll let you know. CA probably has it in stores, we don't get that fancy stuff here in Texas!

Finally got to see your photos! Slow has told me how awesome your yard/gardens are! You have put in a lot of labor of love.....just beautiful!

I love all your things. Did you hang the birdhouses as they are shown in your pictures? That is a really cute idea!! I have a red bottle too and it has water in it. We got it at Safeway. I Love how you have them displayed(-: and the penny urn. I wondered if you painted it first then glued on the pennies? Or is it copper?

Everything is so lovely Flagtruck, I'm jealous of the "greenery" you have, it's real cold up North this week. I absolutely love your Burrow Tail plant, it's so big. On a P. Allen Smith garden show today they had antique blue bottles and it was stated that "bottle trees have been around for a long time and they were made to ward off evil." Cute!

Thanks again to all of you for the kudos, Cindee, the penny bowling balls were just roughed up and covered with pennies. I used liquid nails clear and covered them solid. It took a whole $5.80 worth of pennies. I have done several and just keep something going on all the time to work on when I sit down on my patio fora coffee break. I will glue a few pennies, drink my coffee, enjoy the yard and then get back to whatever else I was working on.
The bottle trees have quite a history here in the south and a lot of people used to take broken bottles and glue the pieces around their windows to keep out evil also. But you have to be careful and not break one or it lets all the evil spirits out...oh no! Hard to chase around! LOL

Soo glad to see you posting again!! The photos are AWSOME!!! I love your gardens and the birdhouses. Please stay around and show us any new projects.
