Very nice! I love the 1 decorated with shells, the lighthouse 1 & the orange glass /green 1. Lots of great creative use of glass in them. Jan

I love your little birdy rain gauge totem and lady totems. I like your use of more unusual toppings like the mirror. Your bowling balls are gorgeous too. TFS and keep those projects coming!

The base is a square glass dish of some sort that is about 1/4" thich. Don't know what it was used for but it's really heavy and made the perfect base for this totem. Yes, I'm addicted! And now that I've found a good strong glue that has hardly any smell (clear liquid nails) I can work on totems while I watch TV at night.

What a tranquil, lovely spot you found to make home, dulcimerduo! Your totem is very pretty. I love how you incorporated the round pieces. I always think it is fun when people put a figurine underneath a bigger glass piece. Definitely gives the totems more character! Like the rest of the folks, I just love George! I'm glad he managed to fit in your Honda Civic! Only a Garden Junker would be so determined to fit something that size in a small car. he-he I can't wait to see pictures of your new and improved pond too! Here's a funny observation ... I was looking at the picture of your pond and I was wondering about the little gnome standing on the branch of the tree ... that was until I realized it was your DH pushing a wheelbarrow in the background! lol! Years ago, in one of my magazines, they had an article of how someone totally enclosed a mobile home to make it look like a cute cabin. It was located on a lake and they made a screened porch along the whole front of it. Looking at the finished enclosure, you would never know there was a mobile home under it! I could kick myself for not keeping the article. It looks like you have a similar idea! Please keep the pictures coming!

You have been busy, jannie! I really like the one with the teapot in the center...the gravy bowl (?) on bottom & pitcher on top...very pretty! Keep up the good work...will be pretty in your gardens! TFS pic! Jeanne S. luna...I've only done a couple totems & both are used outside but I did do a Metlox shell bowl & bird ...and I have lots of problems with it being dirty from dust, bugs, etc. because the bowl is right side up...also have to empty it alot...yes, it's a lovely mosquito breeding ground! Here's a pic of what I'm talking about except now the bird is siliconed to the bowl & on my potting table:

Very nice, I like the ones with blue, aqua or purple best! People are wanting bargains at yard sales so I find best to keep boutique items away from garage/yard sales. People are probably thinking about the holidays this time of year but might help to make a cute sign or 2 that says "Think Spring" "Wishing for Spring" or "Gardening Dreams" And sign saying they make nice "Holiday gifts for "hard to buy for folks"! That might spur some sales! Good Luck! Jan

Wow fantastic!
I too love the most recent one that is green and orange. tho it appears to be gravity defying. Will it sit on a pole? The lady with the yellow bead hair is my second fave. Some of them appear to have painted pieces? Am I correct? Oh, and very creative use of shells and mirror.

The orange and green on will sit up on a piece of rebar the bottom piece has a whole in it to (was a candle holder) I did paint a marble for th lips of garden ladies. I just keep getting class and making stuff Going to have a yard full fo stuff come summer!!!

Those are really cool, I like how you think outside the box when putting your totems together. You come up with some really super combinations, they have a real folk art feeling to them.
