Praise God for all your prayers!

It was one Scary Weekend!

But they cannot get this Mature "Ballet Dancer" down

I am sill very weak!

I have the results of an endoscopy tomorrow that they took last Saturday. They found an erosion in my stomach but that's not news I see erosion everywhere on my body,LOL

Than this Saturday the whole collapse, do to ultimately not a stroke as they first thought but a VERY BAD BLADDER INFECTION that had been masked by the pain meds I had to take for my stomach. Aye Aye Aye

So please pray that, that "erosion" is nothing serious

BTW I am sending the MRI disc to Mayo so they can make sure nothing else is going on.

Hey Sylvia!

My prayers are always with you. I am glad it wasn't a stroke but I understand how serious all of these other things can be. I hope you don't mind that I shared the information with our friends here. I was worried about you and I know that the people here love and worry about you as well. I wanted everyone to have the knowledge so that they could send up prayers for you.

Yes Tom, that variety is a winner! It is the "only vine" that is producing for me since March. I have the cattle panel cut in half, and had these varieties: 1 Costata Romanesco zucchini, produced well, and very tasty, gone now. 1 Butterstick zucchini, produced well, tasty, gone now. 1 Pattypan pan squash, not a good producer, good taste, gone now. 2 Table Dainty, one by mistake I cut it when taking the other vines down. I have only one now and is the best producer, best tasting and versatile squash. Tom, if I was you, I would put it in that nice arbor that you have. It can be picked at any stage of growth, with the same great flavor. When pick bigger, you cut the skin with a potato peeler, take the pith out and ready for cooking. Willy does not like squash, and he likes this one. And the best of all, no pickleworm. Tom, I think you found a gold mine.:o) Silvia

My box might have been the last box, but it was a BIG box, and the BEST box! It came! : ) It was filled with goodies. Remy, you were very, very generous and kind. I love it! It was like Christmas, or my birthday! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Here's what Remy sent: a flowered notepad gripping gloves (never saw those before-cool!) package of coffee peach cookbook berry seed suet block sunflower seed feeder big bag of turtles chocolates (hubby helped consume those) thistle seed bag feeder rooster coaster set pansy flowered tissues stained glass leaf ornament beautiful hummingbird feeder whole bunch of pretty votive candles green shopping bag the nicest looking pepper jelly, worthy of a blue ribbon (that jelly has inspired me to try making a batch this summer, it's beautiful!!!) and the most darling crafted red bird ornament!!! It's trimmed with beadwork. Thank you so much, Remy. It's wonderful! I also received 6 packs of seeds: Amaranthus 'Golden Giant' Red Broom Corn mix Ipomopsis rubra Succisa pratensis Sunflower 'Lemon Queen' Centaurea moscinata 'Imperialis' (Sweet Sultan) Good things come to those that wait. Hi everyone! Well the garden tour was Wednesday and last evening we got to tour all the other gardens on the tour. It was alot of fun once the major work was done! My DH said my gardens had never looked so good! I admit I did stress a little over the weeds! Now I can relax a little and enjoy the rest of summer! My DLs were just starting to bloom but the Asiatic and Oriental lilies were really putting on a show! I will post some pics of the tour soon. Shirley, I am glad to see the trade is still on and I am now ready! Melinda, I will be out of town starting on Friday, July 18-22 so lets just wait till after then to ship my trade, OK... unless it will get here before the 18th??? Ellen are you going to be away anytime? I am so ready to trade again!I have not done any this summer D/T the garden tour. Marea, I will email you soon about our pending hosta trade! Annette, Hope we can finish our Valentines trade now, too. We are going to the Lakehouse either today later or tomorrow. It is a nice get-away! I hate to complain but we could really use a good rain. I don't understand, why do you say it didn't go as well as you hoped? I thought you were opposed to her taking the kids. Sounds to me like it couldn't have gone better except perhaps if the Judge gave full custody to him now and issued restraining orders but that was not going to happen. There are times when representing yourself can be good. But you need to know what you're doing. The Judge will often help out the pro se party when the other is represented by a lawyer. In the past two years I've been sued twice and threatened with a third. I decided it would cost way more for a lawyer than what I'd stand to lose so I might as well handle it myself and hope that the judge at worst would at least reduce the request. I won both cases handily. I could have and probably should have gone for sanctions and penalties but decided not to bother. I was threatened with a third one and I called up his lawyer and made it clear that I'd make a fool out of both him and his client and I *would* be going for costs, sanctions and more if they proceed but to go ahead if they want. I also "let it slip" that I had been recording phone calls so I have proof to prove they lied in the affidavits. They dropped it. Plus I made him put it in writing that they were dropping all actions and have it notarized. Not sure if he noticed the recorder when we met to transfer the agreement. So I take pride that I have "never lost a case in court"! But then again, some people think I'm a lunatic like Charlie Manson! LOL The only time one should be intimidated in Court is if you're going to lie, but so many people do. And with the number of incompetent lawyers out there... sheesh. Just having a lawyer is different than having a competent, good or great lawyer. My guess: She will leave, not appear in court and not pay any costs. Good riddance. And if it happens, it would be the best for all concerned in the big picture.

Smart move to send disc on to Mayo so they can be up on your situation! It's getting where taking antibiotics is dangerous for your health, drs. on TV news are telling you to take yogurt with them so you help replace good stuff. Ballet??? Thought it was ballroom, have you moved on to the hard stuff already??LOL Don't polka, slow dance a waltz for a while!! Hugs & prayers,Jan

I'll keep you in my prayers Sylvia. Even though it wasn't a stroke, I imagine that stomach erosion is nothing to poo-poo. From what I have read, the culprit seems to be medication that irritates the stomach. Hopefully they will quickly find the cause and get you back to normal (or if you are like me, as normal as you are going to get! lol).
