Jt's Visit in PA

Jt came on Monday.Tuesday I was taken to the Er.Spent 3 day in the hospital for low BP.All test came back neg,no heart attack this time.

So today Jt went ice skating on my pond.

Thanks for taking JT on a trip to such a historical spot, I'm sure she was proud to be an American & get to have her pic taken there!! Shame they don't have anyone who can repair the pillar but I suppose then it would get stolen. I remember how important it was reading about the Mason -Dixon line in school! Why don't you just ask the folks that live there if they have to pay taxes in 2 states? I don't think they would mind!(unless a million other people asked them but probably not as most people don't think about things much on vacation- just getting on to next spot or where they are going to eat. I'm 1 of those that want to take it all in & ask questions & don't care if I eat!! You wouldn't want me around those farms, I'd want to check them out & doubt they are listed as tourist attractions!!! DD on honeymoon in Europe went to several countries & turned around & went back to small Swiss town & spent couple of days talking to all the wonderful people there. Just like me!Oh,Oh Jan

She likes to wear lamp shades and chase after little furry guys, so keep an eye on that little dickens! And make sure you get plenty of pictures just in case you need to blackmail her too. I bet she wanted a tattoo after getting close to that Harley in Milwaukee. I bet Harley Hog talked her into it! And thank God my mother's little dog wasn't still alive because she would have literally loved JT to pieces! She was a little Min Pin who could jump about 4 feet in the air. It was hard to find a place high enough for little "people" like JT so she wouldn't get them. She always tore up little stuffed toys. I don't know how many times I caught her looking like Santa with their white stuffing hanging from her chin and a look on her face that said, "Who me? I didn't do anything bad!"

Hi! I love PA and its history. I lived out in the eastern part of the state for a while and the Harley Davidson plant is pretty cool...so are the little towns of Amish (as suggested above). If you're heading up to Erie (Presque Isle is GREAT!!!!) you could hit Oil City and check out the great old mansioins and museums. If you're heading north, check out the Allegheny Nat'l Park, too...there are tons of great places to stay for a night in a cabin on the lake. If you head south, you can always hit the city of Pittsburgh and take in the history there. The science center, station square, museums and strip district are always fun...even for those of us born and raised out here!!!!!!! You could always hit the PS grand canyon, too...heard it is beautiful! Hope you enjoy the trip and I can't wait to hear where you went!!! Take care and journey safe! ~k

So sorry to hear about your hospital stay!! Glad you're feeling better now! JT looks like she's having a blast. Sure hope you were able to find some treasures in the junk train!

Backyardmom, I'm so sorry you had to go to Emergency, and worse, spend 3 days in the hospital. I hope having your little visitor helped lift your spirits and she's not tiring you out too much.

JT looks happy that you are back home & took her skating! it does take a lot of energy so she probably needed that fireside rest got to get ready to get on the road again!! Joan, hope your health will be OK now. Glad it wasn't a heart attack. My BP gets pretty low & they always say not much you can do about it. Have to be careful getting up or bending over or you go woozy!! Rest up once you send your little traveler on her way!! Jan

Thank goodness, JT didn't get too used to the balmy weather down south! I looks like you took great care of her despite your hospital stay. She looks so cute in her ice skates and sitting by the fire! I hope you are feeling better very soon and that you enjoyed your visit and treasures from the Junk Train!

So sorry you were having a rough time with your blood pressure, but glad you could get the help you needed. Very glad that you are back home now. Take care of yourself and have a wonderful time with JT. Thx for the pics, looks like you are having fun spoiling her!
