Hi -
In spring of 2005 I planted two dwarf cherry trees, Lapin and Stella, from Miller Nurseries. These trees have never blossomed. After 4 years, is there any hope they'll have fruit? I'm about ready to throw them on the burn pile.
I also got three dwarf pear trees from Stark at the same time. They haven't done particularly well either. This is the first year I've had blossoms on them.
The other 20 trees I planted at the same time, (plums, peaches, apples, sour cherries, apricots, and full size pear), and got from Adams County Nursery, are doing great. Most have been producing for 2 years.
Are these dwarf trees just a gimmick? I hate to take them out, but I hate to keep spraying and tending trees that don't produce.
