Peperomia japonica - how to care for?

I have a P. obtusifolia, and that's an easy plant to care for. It's on my west-facing bay window, and I water it about 1-2 times per month in the winter, a bit more in the summer.

My girls and husband brought me home a nice P. japonica hanging basket yesterday. The tag says to keep it at 70 degrees or above - is this true? I keep my thermostat set at about 67 during the winter, would this be sufficient? Also, it says filtered or bright indirect light, so I'm guessing that the west window might be a bit too hot/bright in the summer (if it ever gets here!!).

I was thinking I would hang it in the corner of my laundryroom, where it would get indirect light from east-facing windows, but that room tends to run a little cooler than the rest of the house.

Any thoughts/experiences with the plant would be appreciated.
