Hi Kim I think it would be fine, because once you lay down the newspaper you have to soak it with water anyway, then layer your other ingredients. The water would make the urine less potent, :) Alberta

Claire......what's your time worth - remember that you need include the time not only for the demo but also for your prep time (the menu planning etc) - you will also need to find out from them what they want to accomplish - is there a particular brand or type of appliance that they want you to demo (induction vs AG for example....) - so its definitely more than 2 hours and may be as much as a day depending on how much back and forth there is..... Again for compensation??? Don't know what that industry pays (I am still in the Communications industry....) but hopefully, someone from the GW community will be able to advise - there seem to be a number of professional or former professionals on this forum....

Watch out for suspicious stuff you might have stuffed in your pockets. There is a limit to the blade length of a pocket knife, and these days, any knife might not be allowed. Check before hand with the airline. If you carry on a computer, tablet, cell phone, etc., insure that it is fully charged. They may require you to boot up a laptop to prove it is a working device. Malfunctioning computers in need of repair may be confiscated. Its a good idea to have a spare, charged, battery in your computer bag. If you have a delay, you might wish to entertain yourself with your laptop and that spare battery could come in handy if you suddenly need to get into the check-in line.

Legomom, I have always suffered from severe ear pain upon descent when flying and just barely got along with ear planes. They did not completely solve the problem, which is usually caused by small eustachion tubes in the ears. Just returned from a trip to Europe that involved several flights. I bit the bullet and consulted a pharmacist who recommended 12-hour Sudafed. I hated to take the stuff, but it worked like a charm and I will never fly without it again! I did have wine with dinner. I downloaded a couple of Netflix series on my iPad, which allowed me to watch what I prefer and I found that relaxing. Ironically, I'm in the middle of the book, Before the Fall (about the crash of a private jet.....and so much more!) Try the Sudafed. I felt no adverse effects and was not filled with throbbing ear pain, coupled with deafness on landing. Happy travels!
