snow mold?

Has anyone tried sculpting snow and using it as a hypertufa mold? I understand it may be too cold for the hypertufa to cure, but I was wondering if when the weather is warm, but the snow has not yet melted, it might work. I thought snow might provide a medium which could be fashioned in almost any shape and serve as a mold. What do you think?
