Chicka, I don't know if they've flown yet, because each time I've checked lately, the camera is pointed at some blank place on the roof. The last few times I've seen the chicks, they were up on the tall ledge, though, so maybe the camera pointed at that blank area means they've taken off from that place! According to the link I posted above, they usually don't hunt on their own until about a month after their first flight. I thought I read somewhere that they stay at the nest sight (or with the parents) for up to a year after they hatch...but I'm not sure now. It's said that "the only time that a female would lay more than one clutch of eggs in a year is if the first eggs are lost or damaged before hatching or the chicks die in their first few days." Scott, Our local weekly newspaper had a photo of the deer from the 'deer attack' here in Love County on the front page of the November 27, 2009, edition. It was a 6-point 122-lb. buck. Our local paper, The Marietta Monitor, is very small and doesn't have a website or I'd link it so y'all could see that deer. In that photo, he's standing near the front door of the house. I know a few more details now, including the fact that the deer followed the woman into the garage and, as her husband tried to get the deer off of her, one of its' antlers became entangled in the man's belt and that is why the deer dragged the man down the driveway. Even after the man was able to separate the antler from his belt, the deer followed the couple back to the garage where they tried to fight it off with a sledge hammer and some tree pruning loppers. They are an older couple (I know this because they've been married 51 years) and I am sort of amazed that all they suffered was lacerations and bruising. It wouldn't have surprised me if they'd had broken a hip or pelvis when it knocked them to the ground. Our undersheriff, who eventually arrived on-scene and later shot the deer when it returned to the house and charged at him, said there was so much blood outside the garage that he figured someone had to be dead. He had the best quote in the newspaper article when he said "I have hunted deer, but I have never been hunted by one". Dawn

It doesn't matter, just how much works for you. I used to get a bowl of water and shake in a few "glugs", then splash it all over exposed skin and hair, or shake a few glugs into the bath tub and make sure I put my head down in it. I don't have to use tea tree oil much anymore though since I began taking a few MMS drops (mixed with a few drops of citric acid) a day. It seems to make my breath and body have less/no odor, so the little face gnats aren't attracted to me

After reading all the comments above, Its imperative that I make mine. I owned a window tinting company for 22 years. Of all the window manufactures from 1981 to 1999 when we built our custom home, Marvin was the only true quality competitor to Hurd. We chose Hurd when our home was built in 1999. All of our windows are in great shape to this date except a few cranks have worn out and been replaced. All of our HURDS have 1" thick thermo-pane glass units. Ours are aluminum exterior clad w/ pine wood interiors. I tinted them all in 1999 when we moved in and just had all the tinting redone in 2019. All of our HURD windows are 5' to 6' tall each and very wide. we live in the country. I'm totally shocked at all the above comments.
