Related to the "how many plants have you killed" discussion... Do you have any plants that are troopers, refuse to die, even when things don't go their way?
I have this fighter of a jasmine, that just keeps getting mites, gets down to about 10 leaves, and I think to myself, this is it, it's done, not coming back from this one. I spray it with soap spray (or nowadays, MiteX) but pretty much think it's done for, and yet, it rallies forth, puts out a lot of new growth, and even blooms for me. What a trooper.
I try to keep on top of things, but the past year I've been having to work 6-7 days a week, and there's only so much you can do. So, suddenly, the jasmine has mites and I still can't get to it for a week... I'm so surpised by it.
Here's to hoping I don't have to work that much this year, so I can enjoy my houseplants and gardening.
So, who else has "fighter" plants?
