Just thought to try and see if anyone out there has any of these seeds before we order them: MUSTARD -SAVANNAH, also burgundy RED (tastes more like spinach and is more heat tolerant, used to grow it and we loved it) Pepper -Sweet Pickle (any sweet colorful peppers too) Carrots- white, purple, any other color beside orange Flowers: Angelonia Black Eye Susan "Blushing Susie", also white Zinnia -White, Ivory -no taller than about 30 in. Large flowers ( like Magellan Ivory) Zinnia -Peppermint Verbena -low growing Bulbs: Canna -pink, Caladium "Little Miss Muffet" and GLADS. I have several types of beans, spinach, tomatoes, Basil:licorice, Red Rubin, Lemon, purple and more....please check my page, thank you. Also have bulbs/corms of Canna :"Tropicanna", Canna yellow and red- "The President"; Gingers: White and Pink, more. Just thought right now would be a good time to trade for bulbs- I'd consider sending some for the most wanted seeds!! Also have to trade chocolate or lemon mint rooted plants. Bea

Hi flowersareforme I have valerian seedlings from reseeding itself this season. It was a white one, and smelled so sweet. They are fairly small, and tender. They will be bigger and stronger by spring and will have a much better chance of surviving the winter if left undisturbed here. Where are you located, as you don't have a location shown in your posts or on your Member Page? It may or may not be worth my while to trade, considering your location and postage. LMK if interested possibly in a 2010 trade. Sue

AnnKH, 'bends but doesn't break', lol. Let's just say, it wasn't a break. More of a sever, that required reconstructive surgery. It was awful. Having said that, it's certainly the exception, but whenever I see people thinking about glass tops I do feel that it's worth a warning as a safety risk. While a table cloth may be more slippery it wouldn't be nearly as dangerous. Hopefully the OP finds a suitable solution. FWIW, we paid about $400 for 3 separate 3/4 inch thick pieces with beveled edges and rounded corners. They were made to cover a coffee table, sofa table and end table. We went to local glass company to have them made.

I felt sad about putting them outside last Friday. But they seem to love it, a lot more room to move around than in large basement boxes. In a couple of days or so they will be more ranging free, once they get used to where Home Base is... not completely as my neighborhood is full of foxes, hawks and owls. But they will have a home outdoors they can enjoy. The black Australorpes and the buff Orpingtons remain really friendly. I'll let them enjoy their run starting tomorrow morning.
