Money Tree Selection

I had a few questions about money trees and I can't find many resources online except, like, Hallmark trying to sell them.

My apartment gets very bright during the day, particularly during the summer. If I don't put the tree directly against the window, will it be ok and not sunburn?

Also, when selecting a plant is it better to get one whose trunks are braided very tightly or one that is looser? Or does it not matter?

Lastly, I've seen some in really pretty ceramic pots that don't have drainage holes. It's better to get a plain terracotta pot with the holes, right?

Any words of wisdom would be great! Or, if anyone has a good suggestion for a smallish house plant for a bright room, that'd be great. Thanks!
