It's only human nature to want to keep some of your hard work to yourself. Everyone here does the same. Because after all the work of trial and error, the failures, the final result can actually be quite easy to do once you explain it. As a crafter who attended many craft shows I used to hate it when a customer, usually a woman, was considering buying my work and her hubby would come along and say, "I can make you that" and hustle her away. What I have discovered with great satisfaction with tufa and concrete pots, NO ONE around my neck of the woods says "I can do that" I admit I'm a bad "I can do that person" as well. But when I saw Dena's leaf I was inspired, because at this point there is no way "I can do that":)

Thanks for the welcome, pwin and timhensley! 'Seashell' does look similar. The petals on mine are more narrow and the color of newer blossoms is more purple when it first opens. But I'm not very familar with peonies so these types of variations might be normal.

Yes, it is Morton5's Kitchen. This isn't the first time, nor will it be the last that a GWer's kitchen is posted somewhere without credit and without permission. Usually this sparks a flurry of "copyright" questions and watermarks added to photos. (Even I did the watermarks for awhile in 2009...but in the end I realized that if someone wants one of my pics there's probably nothing I can do about it other than to not post them or even have them online anywhere.)
