Have Hardy Cyclamen seeds

I have hardy cyclamen seeds which I have germination tested, and they are running at least 80%. These were collected from a wonderful mix of what is probably C. hederifolium (I am guessing--I got seeds for the original plants in a trade 3 years ago), with flowers of pink, white, white with a pink eye, and pink with a cerise eye; foliage includes green edged with silver, green mottled with silver, solid silver, silver edged with green, and leaves with the typical shape as well as leaves that are lobed almost like a maple or oak. I am enamoured of these plants, and they have proven to be very hardy and floriferous for me here in zone 4.

I will also trade for other things on my list, but it is not up to date at this time, so your patience is required.

My main wishes at this time are for FRESH seeds of japanese maples, red leaved, cut-leaved, lace-leaved or aconitifolias, hardy primula I don't have, but will also consider other items on my wish list, which also needs to be updated (I hope to do so within the next few days).

Hi kms,
Wow, I saw some of these (in red) at the nursery today and they are pretty!I have some corno di toro peppers from your list but I was wondering if there may be something else from my list that you would like more or that I could send in addition to the peppers. Thanks -Rebecca

I have quite a few hardy cyclamen in my shade garden. I used to try to save seed, get the film off the seed, then plant. I would have about 1 out of 7 seeds take. I read online about the seeds and doing them. Now I leave it to nature. The ants come for the seeds, and they eat the film off of the seed, then just drop the cleaned seed wherever they are. I find them growing in the gravel driveway, and in the lawn. They are short, so the lawnmower does not mow them down. Plant them out in dry shade, water well for several weeks. Make sure shade is DRY, it is essential. Cyclamen is hardy enough but will hate wet feet in the winter. I have done experiment by keeping some seeds potted and planting it out first season. As long as they dry there is no difference.

I can send you 6 seeds just collected from Acer japonicum Acontifolium 'Dancing Peacock' . I soaked them for 24 hours in water and then refrigerated them. I also have other JM seeds just collected but do not know the cultivars, they have beautiful fall foliage. This is my first year to experiment with JM seed. Also have other items on my trade list, although I am in Zone 7b, probably alot of them would not survive in your Zone.Thanks

I have a reddish-purple, lace-leaf Japanese maple in my front yard with lots of seeds on it. I don't have any idea what the cultivar name is. I haven't collected them before so if you are particular, you'd have to let me know how you'd like it done. But I'd love to trade for your hardy cyclamen! Let me know!

Would love to trade some primula japonica seed for the hardy cyclamen. First year they have repeat bloomed this fall--last one blooming is white. If not interested in that, I have many other seeds, including American wisteria and star magnolia.
