wanted: old tomato seed give away and/or trade

So I just went through my tomato seeds. And I need to get rid of these. I thought of just pitching them out but decided I would see if there is any interest here first.

Here's the thing. These seeds are OLD. They range in dates from 2008-2011. I planted from these seeds last year and germination was fair. You will need to sow heavy 2x or 3x normal to get the desired number of plants you want.

So here is how this will work. It will be on a first come first serve basis. So how do you get these OLD seeds from me? One of two ways....

I will trade four (4) packets of my tomatoes for one (1) packet of your newer seed, as long as it's something I can use.

Or...

SASE. Send me a self addressed stamped Envelope and I will put your seeds in it and mail them to you.

Some notes (please read):

When possible I will give 15+ seeds

Several of these varieties have between 6-15 seeds. I will also send these. SO if you are concerned about seed count, please let me know when you contact me, so I can make you aware if your choices have less than 10 seeds. I will NOT send less than 6 seeds

If there is a (0) behind the name of a tomato, that tomato is NOT for trade. This is my master list, and those varieties I have only one or two seeds of. There may be other varieties that are not marked I do not have enough of either that slipped through. If that's the case, I will let you know.

I do not believe tomato seeds need to be mailed in bubble mailers. If you do a SASE, it's up to you whether or not you use a bubbly. If we do a trade, it's up to you. I will use them ON REQUEST. If you don't ask for a bubble mailer, you won't get one.

Sorry for all the rules, but I'm trying to make this run smoothly as I have a LOT of seed here to try and move.

I would like to have some tomato seeds but I don't have SunGold (F1). You may have a hard time finding them for trade. Since they are hybrid you cannot save seeds from them. Most people just keep the extras for next year because the seeds will be good for several years. www.wintersown.org has a variety of seeds available. A lot of them are very desirable varieties. The selection changes frequently and she does not always have SunGold. Most are free for the first 6 kinds but since the SunGold is a hybrid you have to make at least a $5.00 donation to get them. With the donation you can get a total of 10 varieties. Do a Google search for tomato seed sources. A lot of places have economical seeds but no minimum order. Be sure to check shipping cost. All emails answered. At this point I am no longer accepting requests for specific seeds. I can do one or two sase's more but it will be my choice of 10 or so varieties.
