Oh, good grief! (Does anyone still say that?) The Suggestions forum (which used to be Suggestions & Comments, but I guess they got tired of the complaints) is still there, but all the posts are gone, except for those of the past 2 days. I sure hope the powers-that-be don't tamper with all of our old discussions and conversations HERE! Do you suppose it has anything to do with the iVillage sale? I'm not sure of the timing of that. I am still active on various of the gw forums like the kitchen table, and home decorating, I have checked in here regularly but there's very little action. I have started a few threads that I hoped would get some action in here. I wish you would try again tinfoil I love your stuff! I have problems with certain browsers when posting pictures but I get them to work usually. Down at the bottom of the page there's a FAQ link it has helpful instructions for the new features and how to post pictures. I have been doing a lot of of the adult coloring pages during the cooler months but am now working on getting the atrium plants looking good. I have some glass totems done and a few to finish. Here's a picture of a couple of my coloring and I might have a totem too.

This year doesn't look like I'll have a good tomato crop but it's still early. I will have to can tomatoes and salsa since I didn't can any last year except for a few jars of tomato/corn salsa. I didn't dry any dillweed from my prolific volunteer crop. I picked strawberries at the beginning of the season for desserts and then at the end of the season before the PYO place closed. Too late I discovered I loved the flavor of strawberry jam with balsamic vinegar. Only made 2 half pints from the small batch recipe and put them in the freezer. Have an abundance of red cabbage because the 6-pack I bought early in the season at the local nursery contained far more than 6 plants and it looks like all I separated out survived. Now I have to figure out what to do with it all. I should have bought green cabbage because I donate cole slaw to the monthly church suppers. This week it will contain a small head of red cabbage that split after a heavy rain but I had to buy two heads of green. If I can get myself going I will probably try a curtido ferment. Since there are only two of us I try not to plant too much. My husband doesn't care for pickles but he loved the sweet red pepper relish I made last year. I should defrost the frozen peppers and make some since the freezer needs emptying and we're out of relish. Has anyone made a Christmas jam (recipe uses strawberries, cranberries and orange zest) using frozen strawberries and cranberries and been happy with the results? Warning to bargain hunters (like me). Saw a good price on liquid Certo at Ocean State Job Lots … expiration date is September 2018. I guess it's a good deal unless you are trying to make apple jelly in October.

I posted two original posts and one reply yesterday and they all disappeared. Just now, one of them showed back up on this forum. I wish Houzz would learn that they need a backup site to work on to make changes instead of doing it on the ACTUAL site, which messes up everything. It's like they get their IT staff from elementary schools.
