Cedar Waxwings

As mulberries are now ripening, what started out as a couple birds is now about a dozen that travel together and raid the berry trees several times a day. Two years ago the number got up to about 30 before they all left at once with only a couple weeks left in the berry season.Do any of you have any success stories on particular strategies that worked? The trees are pretty big, so netting is dificult.
