swenson red grape for North Carolina

I have 4 concords and a catawba grape planted and a niagra waiting to go in the ground. All of these are slipskin grapes and I would like to have a table grape that is non-slipskin and similar to those you buy in the store. I am considering a Swenson Red, but I'm concerned I may be too far south for this cultivar. Has anyone tried it in North Carolina? I live midway between Hickory and Shelby. Can't tell by the map if I'm in zone 7a or 7b. Is there another variety that would be better? I am looking at swenson red partly because it is supposed to be disease resistant. I won't keep a high-maintenance vine.
