TRADE SEEDS FOR SEEDS SEE MY SEEDS AVAILABLE BELOW

SEEDS FOR TRADE I personally grow and collect my plants and seeds on Long Island.

I am offering the seeds below. Send me a list of what you have to trade and how many seeds you are including. If your not sure of the name, send best description you can photo is a +++

We will then exchange mailing addresses and exchange information.

When I receive your seeds I will email you to let you know that your seeds arrived and then I will mail your selection by USPS.. Then our trade is complete.

You will be notified immediately by email if I am out of stock. I usually trade about 20 seeds of each variety but some seeds are limited to less. I will inform you what quantity I have left before we agree on trade.

CASTOR BEAN (limited supply) Seeds, bark & leaves are all somewhat toxic, but the greatest concentration of the toxin occurs in the seeds & their pods. If you grow Castor Beans in your garden and you have children or pets it is safest to remove the seed pods before they open up and fully mature. I plant these in patio planters. One seed planted produces a nice plant with a lot of seed pods.

I'm confused by your use of buyers, sellers, and Stevia Seeds sold contain no chaff

Selling is not permitted here on GW per the Terms of Service

When trading, it might help you too, to list some of your 'seed wants' on your Member Trade List.

I am interested in Hardy Mum seeds. I also may be interested in annual mum seeds depending upon the color. I love begonias (shady garden) and am interested in all kinds of seed. Right now I only have non-stop red and pink! Looking for any type and color of begonia (tuberous, rhizomatous, canes, etc.) that isn't too fussy to grow from seed. I am focusing on container gardens this year and am looking for annual flowers that spill over the side, or are low mounding. Mine is sweet autumn clematis. This will be my third attempt. Last year I actually had a few wintersown sprouts come up in late August! But they never grew taller than about 1cm. I planted them out, but doubt they will survive the winter. This is a plant I always see everyone complain about saying it is such a rampant reseeder. KMOTGG... I did get a few sprouts on my first try with wintersowing and they grew well for me. It seems the cardinals really like the seed and would take a whole seed head off and sit on the top of the fence and eat it, dropping lots of seeds into my veggie beds in the process. The next year I had a ton of seedlings to pull from there. I have found that my Joe Pye Weed doesn't make a lot of viable seed, so I sow very heavily. It does grow really well from division and cuttings though, as long as you baby it a little at first. I got three totally droopy (like cooked spaghetti) short cuttings of it in a bucket of mud at a yard sale late one May. I planted them right away and tied them to bamboo sticks and made sure it was always well watered. It grew to almost 4 feet and flowered four months later in September. The next year it really took off and grew to over 6 feet. Our soil has a fair amount of clay that holds the water well and it is also surrounded by other plants that keep the soil shaded and moist. I don't want to trade but I'm a bit perplexed why a relatively new member with no rating on the exchange would impose a rule that the other party's seeds must be received before mailing out their end. It's usually the other way around. Did you have a bad experience?
I'm just curious.

I too was a bit curious about you saying that you must receive the member's seeds before you send you end of a trade. I see this is your very first post here at Garden Web, so you may not be aware that there is a Rate and Review Forum to rate Member's trades.

Experienced traders with nice reviews may not respond if they are expected to mail first to someone new, with no reviews yet.

If you have happened to have had a bad trading experience here, I encourage you to make a review for the member at the link below. The Forum Instructions are at the top of the page. The Search Box to be used is the one just below the list of review threads on page 1 there.

I am sorry for the confusion. I am new to this forum and copied and pasted an ad from another forum. Disregard anything doing with sale, focus on my current seeds for trade. I ask for seeds for trade to be sent to me first because I've had a few bad experiences on other sights. Hopefully all pleasant on this forum. Happy planting to all. Best regards, Susan

I am new to gardenweb as you can tell by post replies. I need help. I have searched the site and cant find help. How do I set up a my page and add my seed trades haves and wants. I am computer savvy but can not find help. Feel free to email me. I DO like this site very much and the people I have been in contact with are A+++. Site keeps making me log in even though I set it to remember password, pop ups galore even though I have pop up blocker AUGH! I want to have a my page like everyone else. HELP HELP and thanking you in advance

How do I set up a my page and add my seed trades haves and wants.
I see you got a nice blurb set up on your Member Page. Good for you!
To fill in your trade list, you also go to the bottom of any page, and click on Member Pages. in the green banner. Then choose Edit your Exchange Lists

Site keeps making me log in even though I set it to remember password
Do you maybe have your browser set to delete your cookies or all history upon exiting?

pop ups galore even though I have pop up blocker
Stop over to the Computer Help Forum and they will help you with that. They will need to know what browser you are using and what blocker. Then they can suggest something better. I see no ads whatsoever. I am using Firefox browser and not sure what blocker.

If you have further questions about the Seed X, feel free to start a new post over on the Conversation side of the forum. There is a lot of good info to be had there. The link is just above the list of threads here on the Discussion (Exchange) Side
