More Morning Glories Please!

I think I will go hog wild on MG's this year. I already received some in trades, but am looking for more. I have mostly vegetable seeds to trade (commercial mainly). I may also have some annual flowers I am willing to part with if you have some Morning Glories I really want. I am interested in the following Morning Glories. A star is by the ones I REALLY want.

I am so excited to see all the different morning glories! I hope we can do a trade.

FYI I only trade seed for seed or seed for postage. I also try to be as fair and generous as possible, giving the same amount of varieties/packets of seeds as I am asking. I hope you will do the same.

I have the following MG, I would trade some of each for the carnations you have on your trade list?

If I could do it over I would think twice about planting MG. Yes I too was once a lover of these beauties. The first year I had billows of plants growing over an old picket fence. They kicked in around August and didn't stop until frost. Heavenly blue, everyone stopped to admire. The problem is 4 years later I have MG coming up everywhere. I spend more thime removing these beauties from every inch of my gardens, about 1 acre, even out in my lawn. But, in repsonse to your question I agree with other post. Don't feed, don't run water everytime they look droopy and be patient they will come. My advice to you is to make sure you remove all the dead vines after frost to ensure MN and birds don 't scatter everywhere.

Early blooming morning glory, tall morning glory

My ivy leafed small light blue morning glories bloomed first and got to about four foot tall. The Early morning, or tall mix got tallest at about ten foot and bloomed much later. Because they needed to be sown after frost I didn't see a lot of difference between my direct sown and winter sown. I didn't use the best soil though and my drainage was bad. This year I'm doing more and will be direct sowing for ease of planting out.

Mike now I envy YOU! I have a variegated maroon looking MG and I have only found ONE seed pod! I think they do not produce any :-( But yes...next year your fence will be covered by all the seeds that start growing from the ground up lol VERY PRETTY Lucy

Hi Kay, I have decided to keep the beach morning glory. I only have 6 seeds of Andersonii and haven't yet decided if I want to try it. Ron said it likes warm moist climates and my gardens are very dry. But there's a spot in my brother's yard where the AC drains that stays moist. I might try it there. Haven't decided yet. I am adding Mini Sky Blue and Misty to my trade list though.

Hi - I have a mg mix that contains the first three on your list and would love to trade for your white and purple coneflowers. Also have red or yellow mums too as well as r. herbstonne for the fall garden. Doreen.

I kept the Grandpa Ott pulled out in 2010, but I didn't mark what year the seeds are that I have.
