Container blueberry question

Hi, all! I've got a blueberry question that has been bothering me - I am a complete blueberry newbie, so hopefully someone can help!

I planted a Sunshine Blue last spring in a container out on my deck. It was about 3-4" tall when I got it, and pretty sad looking (arrived from Wayside Gardens pretty beaten up). It quickly perked up though, and grew pretty well over the summer. But...there are 3 or four branches that are much, much longer than the rest of the plant. I'm not sure if that's normal, or if I need to prune in some way early in the spring, or if I need to adjust something else that I'm doing. Any advice would be appreciated!
