Pink banana & other tropicals for trade and postage

I have about 15 trades of 12 fresh seeds each, of Pink Velvet Banana (Musa velutina) available for trade or SASBE. PRIORITY will be given TO TRADES. Please post here in the forum if you are interested in trade or SASBE. If you want, additionally, you can send an e-mail but petitions will be served in the order of posting here. For SASBE send 64c in a regular envelope and I will put in the buble envelope (Valid for the first 10 persons)afterwards you send buble envelope plus return postage.

In addition I have:

8 trades of yellow rain lilies(40+seeds Zephyranthes citrina)

4 trades of Hawaiian Red canna (15 seeds, 2008 season from my yard)

The following are for trade ONLY:

4 trades of (20 seeds) of rare species of white milk weed (Asclepias physocarpus) (food for Monarca butterflies) for trades of not so common plants.

2 trades DOUBLE Blue Pea Vine(12 seeds + (Clitoria ternatea)

1 trade of 3 seeds (olive sized) of Tropical Spider lily

for special trade of not so common tropical plant.

I would like to trade for veggies or ornamental seeds that will do well in warm and moist weather. In particular looking for: chinese red noodle bean, other edible beans, squash(especially spaghetti squash), eggplant (especially easter eggplant) sweet(not hot)peppers, bolivian ornamental peppers,mexican tomatillos, ground cherries, oriental veggies or make an offer. Flowers that do well in hot and humid weather.

What I am NOT interested in: tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, hot peppers, peas, corn, brocoli, parsnips, herbs, flower VINES(no space for them), orange cosmos, 4'oclock.

Great offer, I'd love pink banana and a few other things, if you'd check my list, would be great..need to log off, thundering again, off and on 3rd time today, 3rd day in a row, we needed it, but now hope we don't wish it'd stop.

I don't have alot in the way of herbs...however, I could send you a good sized clump of mature Garlic Chives, I have a mint that has been in the family for many generations, it smells like spearment. I also have chocolate mint, although it would be cuttings, that maybe I could get roots on . I have different basils, but I sowed them from seed and they are still pretty small. I would be interested in the musa Basjoo or elephant ears. Maybe you might find something else on my list that would tempt you.

I don't think there is anything on my list that is on your "want" list, but I'd be more than happy to send payment if you have any of these left to ship. I'm in southern Missouri but have a 10x40' sunroom on the front of the house that I use like a greenhouse for tropicals. :)

I can do SASBE. Also, I have some spaghetti squash seeds if you like. These are from last year so I don't know about the germinaton rate at this time. Just want to make sure you are informed up front.

I am interested in trading for or doing an SASBE for some of your yellow rain lily. I have available for trade, what is on my tradelist, and freshly harvested bicolor pink/white cleome and gaillardia mix of red blooms and some solid yellow blooms. I have available from trades white formosa lily 2007 seeds, coreopsis lanceleaf single/semi-double yellow 2008 seeds, and coreopsis double sunburst 3ft to 4ft tall 2009 seeds. The seeds I got from you last year did great though in all honesty have given most of them away to friends and family so I only a few here in a pot which I plan to transplant once fall gets here, but would really love some more.

Hi Francisco,

I might have some things left that you'd like. I'll check and let you know. I know you said you don't want cukes or vines but I just ordered something called Trichosanthes kirilowii. Take a look. I'm only getting about 10 seeds so I'll have just a few extras if you want to try them.

Hi fellow gardeners: I am at present sick with a flu(since yesterday) afternoon. Therefore I will not be able to do more trading until next week. I am very sorry but I hope you can understand. I still have plenty of pink banana seeds so if you post, please be patient and you will get your seeds.

Sorry your feeling under the weather. I'am interested in your Pink velvet banana, Hawaiian red Canna and the Spider lily. I have a few seeds of the following to trade,Cantaloupe "imperial 45", Melon "green nutmeg", Puya pepper, Fish pepper, Narinjilla fruit, and Melon "charentais" a french heirloom. Hi Francisco, sorry you've got the flu, hope you get rid of it soon, you were just telling me about Elderberry's medicinal values in fighting the influenza virus type A and B, hope you got Dr's checkup in any case , seeds can wait -hope not for long--feel well soon.
Seeds should be there by now, take care of yourself.
