Stone fruit spray schedule

Well its that time that I start anticipating Spring and the start of next season's fruit. I have about 20 plum trees, both Asian and European which should bear this yr. However my past experience with all but the Shiro has been a real uphill besattle. We have hot summers coupled with high humidity. The plums, peaches, apricots, pluots, and peaches are all hit hard with brown rot. I sprayed religiously with Captan, Ziram and Topsin and still got hit bad. What spray schedule and fungicides do you all use? I am taking both my nectarines out because in 4 yrs. I've only eaten 1. Is stone fruit really that hard to grow?
