Cyrus is a wealth of information. My comments are that mine often do not flower, and that it really does not seem to matter at all. Among your comments, the only one that seems a little off is your watering. Potatoes are usually better off with a little LESS than you think they need. So adequate watering is too much. Maybe? I have relatives near there, and I know that theirs have been growing since early March. I am so jealous. I did not get action until second week of April. Rip em out and do another crop! Potatoes are so much fun. Dig em up any ol time. I pulled some too early last year. The stalks were still green, but fading fast, by that time, the potatoes are about as big as they are going to get, anyway. I shed a tear for all those potatoes left unborn... for about two seconds.

Try putting some fresh pom pollen onto the little stigma of the receptive flowers. Just put a fingertip into one flower until it gets all yellow. Then gently touch the newly opened flowers showing the small green sigma which usually sticks out above the yellow anthers. It works for me. Paul.

To follow up, Gurney's finally contacted me back after about a week. They're sending a replacement order which is fantastic. Thanks for suggesting to get in touch with them! As for my slips, half just couldn't make it, but the other half are starting to make new leaves and I think I'll be planting them soon. Murasaki's seem to only need 100 days, and in Texas weather, I've got plenty of time. As for the Okinawan I bought from Baker Creek, they seem to require nearly 180 days, so it'll be cutting it pretty close for those as they're taking quite a while to ship those. Thanks so much for suggesting to contact gurney's. Glad to see some company's still care about their customers. I'm so used to a "tough luck" type of response for most other things, that it didn't even occur to me to contact them.

Ariel is correct. The arrangement will look nice for quite some time, but over time some plants will grow too large and others will die or look bad. One possible problem in addition to crowding and different needs is that the arrangement probably does not have a drain hole so roots can rot overtime and chemicals in the water will collect which will not benefit your plants. If you just want to enjoy the arrangement for now, that’s fine. Just realize that you’ve come to a gardening site, and people here want to save every plant! You could enjoy it for a couple more months and then when it starts to look bad, properly repot the surviving plants individually if you like. The tall one with the long leaves is a dracaena. The blooming one might be a kalenchoe (see if it has thick succulent leaves), there is a schefflera (umbrella plant). That’s all I know. PS don’t overwater
