I bought a pack yesterday at Lowes but when I opened them they were a light brown color. The commercial ones I have seen as well as those traded have always been the tan colored ones like in the pics at the link below. I have had moonflower vine seeds before & I know when they get old they turn brown (are they still good?) I'm not sure...if you have some old brown ones, you might just try them to see if they sprout. Sue Here is a link that might be useful: scroll down for pics.

A WOMAN SENT ME SEEDS IN trade for dragon fuit seeds. before I had time to ship them I had to fly back east for a sick and dying relative. im flying back next week and sending them out...its been 2 months...this was the message I posted: One person sent me a manilla bubble envelope containing seeds. 1 day after getting them I had to fly out of town for a sick and dying relative and have not been back since.
