Need Advice on Geese laying eggs

I have 5 geese that free-range during the day and go into a safe enclosed pen at night. Two of my females have begun to lay eggs. The problem is, they're making nests and laying the eggs outside of their pens. Each has only laid two eggs, and I know they will lay more before they sit. The problem is I do not feel safe leaving them out at night once they do begin sitting. So what should I do? If I move the eggs now into their pen, I'm sure they'll just continue to make other nests. Can I wait until they've begun sitting and move both them and the eggs into the pen? Please help - I definitely want to have the babies but I don't want to risk a predator attack by leaving them out. THANK YOU
