Just a warning...I am by no means an expert, but I am guessing that the melon you bought at the store was a hybrid so the seeds of that melon will not produce melons like the one you bought. I could be mistaken though. That doesn't mean your melons won't be tasty, it just means you can't expect it to be like it's parent which likely means it won't be as desirable in one way or another. Also, if your melon already has the netting on it, I don't believe it will get much bigger before it will be time to harvest which should only be a few days away now...maybe a week. Please let us know what it tastes like though. I am curious to learn the results of planting a seed from a store bought melon. Good luck!

Suzie, you didn't show us the chair rail. Can you mock up the chair rail, 2 and 3 rows of onyx, and some tiles on the diagonal- so we can see the proportions? As long as the chair rail is wider than the onyx I think it would be fine. And, as the bath trim and shower trim don't line up anywhere, I don't see a problem with having 3 rows on the bath, and 2 on the shower, if you want to keep 2 rows within your picture frame. I just think that because you have a fair amount of variation in your onyx mosaic tiles, that 3 rows gives a better representation of the colour than two. Two may be lost. Is your flooring the same tile (though in a larger size) as your shower tile? If it is, then for sure, you can handle 3 rows to offer some break in the colour.

The wood looks like the picture for about 2 months. Then it immediately starts to darken and will look more like circuspeanut's house.... I have solid cherry wood furniture finished with natural oil/wax finish and ?Polix finish in the bathroom vanity. I also have solid vertical grain fir trim/moulding throughout the house. My trim work is not painted or varnished. Instead, it is finished in hand rubbed oil. This is a crazy way to finish the trimwork but it really shows off the wood. Circuspeanut shows that the two species of wood age to a near similar color... It is also turning out to be so in my house as well. My fir trim work and cherry furniture is about 12 years old and are in the same room. They are nearly the same in hue. The red of the cherry does not stand out that much next to the aged fir.... The darkening process is such that none of the wood will have the same color over time. Every room in my house has solid VG fir millwork. Every room and wood piece has a slightly different color/hue to the wood. You have to be okay with that look. If you need a uniform look, you need to stain the wood. Fir does not stain well.... Look at Cloudswift's cabinet door. Every board and wood piece has a different color, even the two pieces of board that are next to each other.... Either you find that look acceptable or you get a wood specie such as maple or ashe and stain it to even out the color....

And how bout if I add the teeny tiny little fact that my GC ordered the handle **by mistake** without my final approval, and they are already at my house!
