Just so you are aware . . hybrid flowers, ie coneflowers will not come true! They will revert to the dominant pollen parent. So if you trade those you may want to place a disclaimer! FYI :)

The coneflowers that I have listed all look like the parents that are right next to them. The Green Wizards started as 1 plant and look very similar to the parent. They do tend to have more pink than the whole green center, but that's the only difference that I can see so far but this is only the 2nd year. So I'll have to wait and see what nature has in store for those.

But the Ruby Giants haven't morphed at all and I have had them for about 5 years. They also started with one plant. I now have over 30 of these same plants all started in the spring from seed.

The noid hot pinks as well haven't morphed. I wish I hadn't misplaced the tag. I got them at the exact same time I got the Ruby Giants. The foliage is a very bright green and the flower head is a very hot pink. If anyone knows the name please drop me an email.

The same with the White Swans, which I originally purchased from seed from a seed company, five years ago. They all came up wonderfully and I now have 6 of those plants.

My Echinacea Paradoxa (yellow coneflower) as well haven't reverted back to the parent plant. They are still very yellow and have spread over a 3 foot area.

I do have some of the Big Sky Series and I agree they all morph. But I don't offer any of those seeds and deadhead regularly so they don't blow all over the place.

I am trying the Tennessee Coneflower this year for wsing project. And I am starting them from seeds to see how they do.

I wish I could have saved the pictures I had taken this last summer of these flowers. My hard drive crashed on the regular computer and with it about 1,100 of my garden photos :(...but Santa brought me a new laptop (on right now) and a back up zip drive and now I finally know how to use it :)

Can't wait to take new pic's of everything this year! :0)

I have a lot of hybrid cone seeds from trades and while I know they most likely won't come true (I hope for at lest one!) I can't wait to see how they turn out. You never know what you'll get and you might end up with something interesting!
