Now, you don't seriously think you are going to stop adding daylilies. Might as well dig a new bed, you are going to have to do it anyway as you have the daylily bug as bad as any of us here on the forum.

I know, I know, but my DH is involved in a project (making a shed and fort for the kids) and if I tell him I ordered more and need to make a new bed now he'll flip. They aren't shipping till Sept. but I think I'd better tell him so he warms up to the idea.

You are impatient just like I was. Last year when I did my first new daylily bed people told me not to fill it up immediately as I would be wanting more. Of course I totally ignored that and filled it, then simply did another, much bigger bed in the back yard. But I filled that up last summer too. By that time it was towards fall and I simply redid beds for spring planting and did the terraces garden all to be planted in the spring. Now I need more space.
