Thanks for posting the info. AS you know I'm one of the oldies here that was blocked 2 weeks ago and you helped me get the problem solved.

Be sure to check to see if you can send an e-mail through GW as well as post.

I'm still unable to send e-mail through GW but can post.

I think bigred may have mentioned that too, but never heard for sure if/when she got it fixed. What happens when you try to email someone?
Hopefully gwtamara can get you fixed up soon.

I do know that a lot of the emails via GW seem to go off somewhere into cyberspace and never arrive at their destination.

littleonefb just emailed me privately (non GW) and said not only can she not email via the system, but now she can't post again, and has done nothing to cause it.

This leaves me thinking that the filter is working overtime and blocking folks completely in error.

She has emailed gwtamara, so hopefully she will shed some light on this and post whatever she finds out.

Sue,I can email via GW,although I do not use that option unless I have no other choice.I have not tried the 'contact us' link since the last lock out and I have had no problems. I have posted as I usually do without any trouble,I am betting if I did try the 'contact us' link again I would be locked out again.I really believe that is where the problem is,because if you remember after I got back in,I emailed GW for another member,didnt post a thing, and was locked out after 2 posts following my attempt to email them.I do believe Peggy's experience was similar to mine.I know in the future if I have any problems I will go straight to Tamara,I am now afraid of the 'contact us' link...lol

Ok, I'm trying to see if I can post. My problem started after one time sending an e-mail through GW to a post I have on the seed exchange, this morning. was still able to post on a thread, then bingo. can't.

Have not heard from gwtamara and have sent 2 e-mails to her.

let's see if it is fixed.

Thanks for the heads up...will not be using the 'Contact Us' or emailing through GW.

As far as I can tell I did not do anything to cause me to be locked out. I have not been posting other than an offer of seeds. I don't think it is an issue with not changing the subject line and I definitely do not post often enough to be considered a 'spammer'.

I'm saving Tamara's addy so I can contact her directly. She thought she had me going again last Saturday but I was not able to get in until I contacted her again on Monday...she misspelled my member name. It would have helped if she had emailed to say she had it fixed.

Ok...here is another heads up. I emailed tamara at her gwtamara email addy on littleonefb's (Frans) behalf and asked that she reply to both me and Fran about what might be going on.

Here is her reply:

I'm not sure why this is still happening, but our tech team is working on isolating the problem. At this point, all I can do is just unblock you when it happens. I know it's frustrating and I hope they are able to resolve it shortly.

Fran, I didn't receive any mail from you to this address -- but, I"m regularly checking the blocks and if your name is there, I'll just automatically unblock it.

Soooo...in conclusion...good to know that they are working on it.

Also keep checking if you may have been unblocked, because as west_texas_peg said, she did not receive notification that she should be back up and running.

Suggestion...like I said above, first email gwtamara, and if the block is not unblocked in what you consider a reasonable amount of time, then email a GW friend (hopefully you will have/know/be able to locate a member friend's addy) and ask that they email gwtamara on your behalf.

Since I am the proclaimed resident busy body here, anyone can feel free to email me and have me try and email/report it again on your behalf....if all else seems to have failed.

I am so happy to hear that there is something in the works to correct the problem!:) I really would suggest if you have been locked out once and get back in,do not use the 'contact us' link until we have word the problem is resolved.It doesnt appear to effect everyone,I am wondering what the connection is!
