Any tricks for direct seeding rows into landscape fabric mulches?

I live in a very weedy place. After 8 years here it is getting better but carrots and parsnips with a slow start and weed competition never amount.

I've now got both poly woven landscape fabric and the corn "plastic" mulch that degrades. I experimented last year with transplants in the corn plastic and am sold!

I've got it down for transplants (wrap a row tight and bury all edges. Poke holes for tomatoes etc.) but for rows of seeds I just can't wrap my head around it. I see wind moving it just slightly enough to bury the seeds.

Hoping someone with experience here can offer up some tricks? Thanks!
