There are all kinds of people who are landlords, and some of them are jerks. I have friends who manage an apartment building, and I do hear the other side of this equation, too, though. I don't believe most landlords have an objective of victimizing tenants, but they are in it for the money and trying to do what they can to maximaize their return on investment. Sometimes it leads to unfortunate results, but I don't think that jerking people around is a primary motivation.

I had a problem with a day care dog turning over the water bucket. Everyday they'd go all afternoon without water cause he'd turned it over. Me, being smarter than a Lab wired the bucket handle to the faucet. Tada! Came home, the backyard is flooding, the faucet is on full blast. How fun was that jerking that bucket around AND turning on the faucet? Ok yes, it was a blonde moment.

ACK Me TOO. I usually sort of kind of have an idea in my brain of what I would like to do and then change it about a dozen or thirteen times and back again. I haul out all my glass and china bits and end up with HUGE piled up messes just waiting to fall over and sometimes when they do an idea is born. LOL In the end my project might not even be close to what I had in mind. My lady perfect example. She evolved. Just try to have fun with it. OT so every one else stop reading here.:^) And on an aside. Was it you that loved the horses so much? Someone sent me a U-Tube link to the most amazing horse clip. If you are still on dial up I will need to figure out how to burn it to disk for you. I have watched it at least a dozen times. WONDERFUL dressage performance. Thanks folks, I have a sack of about 10 different 1/4 yd cuts that I've bought/ordered/lived with. I had them all up for varying lengths of time from hours to overnight to days. Hubby is sooooooo over it. Every time I tried a bright color it just looked off to me. Once I put a big, bold pattern in it just clicked better. I actually really like the same pattern in blue over the sink, but when it's in the eating area it's not quite right. So essentially I think I'm ready to go neurotic but not quite certifiable crazy yet. I'm going to accessorize with a lot of blue but if I decide to go back to red or yellow or orange in the future, a can of spray paint solves the issue. This thread has also made me love suzani now. :) The eyebrow comment is valid and definitely makes me think. I've got one more fabric store to visit today, but at that point I think I have to make a call of some kind. I could put this off for months if I let myself.
