When the weather is right, cukes grow fast, so if you direct-sow them again, they'd mature about as fast as the ones you planted earlier. You don't list your zone in your area, so it's hard to know if you set them out too soon or if they're suffering from all this rain much of the country is having. I wouldn't give up on the variety and get another one. Just re-plant some more seeds and watch them grow.

Probably cucumber Beetles. Look at the bottom of the leaves towards evening. Pick off any beetles that you see.

Here's a pic of Cucumber beetle damage that I googled up, pretty good match. The damaged leaves in your pic look like older leaves, perhaps with older damage but the beetles are no longer around?

I'm no expert by any means but this happens to any cucumber or squash plant I have ever planted as it gets hotter and hotter and as the plant begins to wind down so to speak. I've never had one stay healthy looking for long.
