been awhile, had totally forgotten about this thread, thank you for the kind comments glad you enjoyed the pictures, because i sure liked taking them :) dahli22: I really like the poppies mixed in with the chervil too, and the best part about it is that i do nothing to maintain them ;), unfortunately i don't think the NoID plant is anything in the fritillaria genus. and yes i eat the sea kale and lots of it :D, i eat the flower buds, the stems and the leaves all raw, some people cook them but i haven't tried that yet. was just digging around in the computer and found some more pictures from the summer :) enjoy! more sea kale fuchsia, climbing hydrangea and clematis. again. and one last time wild roses growing along our horsepen old poplar growing a root inside itself small buttercops elderberrie in the back of our yard in bloom and one in front of the house the burial mount again later on the season with new flowers closeup with our house in the background :) and to finish off with some fall/winter pictures :) from october i think ' èfrom november

Yes, I think one of those was a motoskei. But looks like they halved the hoya display. When I was there, there wasn't just 4. there were about 8 hoyas on display - most of them on the table in my first picture, one or two were elsewhere. I only took individual pics of the most impressive ones, There was a curtisii which looked exactly like a big box H. curtisii would look. And I didn't photograph a plain carnosa - it was a healthy shiny plant, but you know, it's a carnosa. :-) The only type of Hoya for sale I saw was H. carnosa Tricolor aka "Krimson Queen" - 3' or 4' pots for $4 or $5, with discounts if you buy any 3 plants in those small pots.

Nancy, I once had mine do the same thing for me a couple years ago and nothing since!!! That's crazy. They smell so good too. I think I had mine in the little greenhouse all winter the year mines did and fertilized all winter. I am trying the same thing again this year. I will take a photo for you on the one I started from that very plant , the momma you have there)) There si something about yours that just makes me smile so much. Thank you for sharing. The temps not so bad yesterday 70 here. Crazy. Still I have many annuals just pushing growth in pots but after this weekend it will be the end.((( Mike

Thanks Kelly! Sounds pretty! I know they can grow quite a bit in one season! Did you ever take cuttings from it or your sweet autumn clematis? My sweet autumn clematis died unfortunately.
