Front Yard Perennial Help

kldg

We had an existing berm in our front yard with a Kwanzaan Cherry tree and misc. perennials and bulbs. We just finished installing a retaining wall in front of the berm which will allow us to put more plants and move around the existing ones. It's kind of a hodge podge in there now as I have not much garden design capabilities! I would appreciate suggestions that would balance out the the tree and look good for the summer into the fall. We're putting the house on the market in October and it would be great to have something in there that would still look good at that time. I've attached a link to some pictures, the wall wasn't quite complete at that time, but we've since finished the caps, etc. I'm in z6 in PA and the house faces west so lots of hot afternoon sun in the summer.

Thanks for your help!
