Plants to trade in San Diego, CA

13 years ago

Hello, I am located in the San Diego area of California and I have a couple of small (under one foot tall) Lobster Claw Heliconia *, Elephant Ear Plants ** and Dracaena ***.

I am told that the Lobster claw plant has a very attractive red flower when blooming. I have had the parent plant for over a year so I havenÂt seen any blooms on my plants yet, not sure how old plants need to be to bloom.

The Elephant Ear plant has been very prolific and gifted me we a few "pups". Parent plant was almost 10 feet tall and had a thick trunk like stem. Plant seems to maintain about four to five leaves at any time.

The Dracaena were cuttings started about 6 to 12 months ago and are doing very well .

I am looking for unique and unusual trades. I enjoy fruiting plants, bamboo and things outside of the normal. Right now I am keeping most things in pots due to limited in ground garden space.

rowing conditions for above listed plants.

* Growing in the ground

** Some growing in the ground, others in pots

*** growing in pots.
