HAVE: Frontline plus for dogs/cats all sizes

I am making available again this year trades of plants for Frontline Plus all sizes. Please email me what you have and what you need. I am looking especially for fern peonies, but you can look at my list for more ideas. As pet lovers know this is very costly flea/tick control, so I will be expecting good size plants as trades. The last time I did this, I was disappointed in a couple trades that I never received after mailing the frontline, nor got any response from when I tried to contact people. If this happens again I will contact garden web member services with your information so that they may deal with you. I offer a great trade and am great to deal with, I expect the same in return.

Yes, yes, yes!! We have two dogs, one is a Newfoundland and quite a big boy. I have as many fragrant narcissus as you can safely handle *smile*. There are 5 varieties mixed together, all highly fragrant, originally from White Flower Farm. You could look at their website to get an idea. I also have lots of Cupani's Original sweet peas. This is oldest variety of sweet pea. Blooms are magenta and purple, early spring, climbs with tendrils. Also have Four O'Clocks - magenta, easy to grow. Please see my trade page for others. With 8 dogs you will have to use a few products. Wash dog bedding, towels, quilts, blankets and your own laundry with your regular detergent, but add Borax to each wash. Wash walls, ceilings and floors with a Borax solution of Borax and water. I usually use 1/4 cup to a gallon of hot water. Mix well. on the rugs I use Bio Spot Carpet Spray. I also take the sofa cushions off the sofa, vacuum well the spray with Bio Spot Carpet Spray lightly, then place the cushions back on the sofa immediately. You can also spray a grooming brush with flea and tick spray (the kind you can spray on the dog.) then brush the dog well outside. im allergic to mites, so every 3 months the above is exactly what I do. Works well for me. My dog has never gotten fleas. Hope this helps. I did extensive research and testing to come up with the recipe.

Sentinel does prevent fleas from reproducing, but only if the flea bites the dog. Hopefully, the frontline will kill the flea before it has a chance to bite the dog. I consider sentinel expensive overkill if a dog is on frontline plus. I have always had at least 1 dog with severe flea allergies, so my goal has always been to prevent fleas from biting in the first place. I've seen sentinel work very well in households without dogs with flea allergies, without any additional flea treatments. Comfortis is a natural product derived from a bacterium, but it is systemically absorbed and stays in the dog's system all month. The most common side effect is vomiting, which most dogs get over after the first dose, but if my dog vomited a $6 pill I'd be mad. And I'm not sure I want something that kills animals to be harbored in my dogs' bodies continuously. It's a thing I have.

There is nothing in frontline plus that is lethal to a cat... just don't make the same mistake with Advantix (often confused for Advantage which is safe for cats), which does have a very toxic product that can make cats very sick.

Where does this front line come from? Is it expired? Or does it still have a good expiration date. Did you sell under another name? I would like to look up any reviews on the quality of the frontline. Sorry about all the questions just want to make sure it works. I bought some off of ebay last year and it didn't work very well at all.

my vet has said that frontline has been diminishing in effectiveness over the last year or so. THey have started switching all their animals over to comfortis.. and it works like a charm.

I work in a veterinary hospital, so the Frontline is not expired, as we order it quite frequently. We have not heard ANY complaints of the Frontline "diminishing in effectiveness", I use it on my animals and wouldn't trust anything else. I'm not here to get into a debate over which product works best - I'm just trying to make some trades and not get burnt (thank you plantermunn for the advise). I did not sell under any other name, it was a couple years ago - before the rates and reviews were up and going I believe. If it would make you more comfortable I can give you email addresses of the 10-15 people I dealt with at that time that were more than pleased by our trade - not an issue just let me know. I can not attest for anything bought off of ebay, but my the Frontline I am selling is legit.

My vet has also said that Frontline is no longer as effective against fleas, because they're developing resistance to it. I see you're in Zone 4, so your fleas may not live through the winter. Mine do, in Zone 8.
