winter cover crop-never again

I planted some wheat and rye for a cover crop in my raised beds over the winter. What a mistake! It just caused a lot of extra work removing the grass and it's still coming up even after I tilled it under. I really don't see the benefit outweighing the work.

Next time I'll just cover the beds with black plastic or straw!

Almost finished planting everything for early spring here in south Alabama.
