Maid of Orleans Samboc Jasmine

Cuttings available of my Samboc Jasmine. Anyone wishing to have fragrant plants in their garden should not be without this plant. It produces the most enchanting fragrance. Unfortunately, I planted it in an impractical location and it grows massively which requires me to cut it frequently. Plant doesn't seem to mind in the least and produces fragrant flowers all year long. Have had it for 10 years and have yet to fertilize it, although it is mulched heavily with compost.

Pink Naked Lady & Heirloom Iris

I decided to relocate my Naked Ladies and Heirloom Iris which have been here for more than 20 years (way before my time) I dug and dug and dug and with each dig I pulled up more iris and more Naked Lady bulbs. They're quite fantastic but I don't have enough space to put all of them back, even if I wanted to. The Pink Naked Ladies grow very tall and make an outstanding cut flower.

The heirloom Iris is a classic from the garden and surprisingly, given their age, they are very hardy, productive and make a great cut flower.

I am interested in your heirloom iris...what color is it? The link posted was a list so I wasn't sure which it was.
Also, your naked lady...what are you looking for in trade?

So funny...I am the one who started this thread back in 2004 (and we shortly thereafter moved to Colorado). We moved back to So Cal last September, and just now moved into a home on a huge horse ranch in San Timoteo Canyon. Our yard is a blank slate (except for having mature pepper and birch trees)...no grass, so I am on the lookout for anything drought tolerant and rabbit proof. I don't have a lot to trade at this point, as I am starting all over, but I do have some seeds and can get my hands on some great succulents (as my mom and dad's succulent garden is always in need of trimming). And if anyone is in Redlands or thereabouts, let's see about having some get togethers to do some trading!

Katkin, I have enough tilandsia for you :-) I don't care what type of dragon fruit it is....right now I am into edibles and the dragon fruits is such a weird one...it will be a surprise :-) Actually the first time I had a dragon fruit was at a swap....the first time I had a mulberry was a few days ago from a plant I got at a swap...I learn so much and try so many different things because of gardenweb:-) Veronika, thank you so much....I looked up the the dragon fruit and itlooks cool I can't wait to get it:-) And my hubby has been wanting a lobster claw for awhile now. We bought some seeds once....the birds thanked us for lunch :-)

I have a few more items worth listing Ipomoea coccinea or scarlet morning glory. A favorite of hummingbirds and listed as a native on the IFAS publication at the link below. Warning is does reseed readily if seeds not removed. Dies back in summer. New plants pop up in Fall. Also I have several white containers some glazed some not. no extra watering by me here in West Houston, and here's what's still blooming: roses: Don Juan, Angel Face, Fragrant Delight (!) pentas: pinks & purples (the reds & whites died) salvias: Hot Lips, Victoria Blue (the plain red one died) crepe myrtle: white blooming tree w/ cinnamon bark butterfly weed: yellow & yellow/orange Katie Ruellia: purple, pink, & white moss roses (annual): red & yellow & pink The two Hybrid Tea roses (Angel Face and Fragrant Delight) have never looked better--I'm shocked! Then again, I don't spray and normally it's humid here. (My Belinda's Dream and Pinkie actually DIED, and my Mutabilis isn't blooming. Normally, these 3 are the easy ones for me.)

Hello, all. Sorry, I thought I'd listed the color of the iris. It's white with a yellow throat and some are white with a yellow and lilac-blue throat. They grow between 3-4 feet tall on sturdy, dark green stems. I used them primarily as a cut flower but they looking lovely enmasse in the garden as well.

Since I didn't allow them to bloom, there will be a mixture provided since I have no idea which is which after digging them all up at once.

I would love cutting of your jasmine. Would you be interested in cuttings of my Hoya Bella or blue mophead hydrangea? the hydrangea is large enough to cut limbs without a bloom on it this year as suggested in rooting instructions.
