i know if i plant a black eyed susan in a large flower-pot it will do well for the season. then, i can transplant it back to the ground in the fall. my question is can i leave the black-eyed susans in the ceramic pot after they are established and through the winter? will they survive? the pot has a 1-inch wall. or should i put them in the garage in the fall and leave then in the ceramic pots through-out the winter? what is the best way?
