I don't agree about not pruning a rose the first several years. You just don't need to thin old canes in the first years, but if a rose puts out enough growth to be trained and/or pruned you shouldn't delay. I grow both Zephy and Kathleen Harrop, the light pink sport. I didn't deadhead Zephy because it is growning on a tall lattice where I can't reach, but I did deadhead KH which is growning on a shorter pillar. And last summer I had the best rebloom ever on KH, but hardly anything on Zephy (which is usual). So... maybe deadheading had something to do with better rebloom, though KH also gets full sun and is in a less challenging situation so that could be a factor.

My ZD on the south side is huge. When I had one on the north side of my house for several years it didn't get very large, but I was pleased with the way it bloomed. It had a nice spring flush and bloomed some in the fall. Last year the one I have now had a big spring flush and intermittent blooms throughout the season. So far it doesn't look like it's going to be as prolific this season, unless it blooms heavy later on. This year is its fourth season.

Of those, I only have Quietness, but it's new this year and has been the puniest grower. I'd be happy to send a cutting next year after it's in the ground and growing. I looked at your list and I also grow Heathcliff if you're interested. I'm mainly interested in DE, but looking at your list I've been lusting for Pretty Jessica. You have a couple others on your "want" list that I'm currently trying to root, so I'll see how those go first. You can PM me if you like. Those I feel comfortable taking cuttings of this winter are New Dawn (I have a VERY old cultivar), Viking Queen, Tooth Fairy, Mme. N. Levavasseur and Mme. Cecil Brunner. I have a Cl. Pinkie that also might be ready for a small cutting, although the deer already helped with that. : (
