Should I attempt this?

We have a .75 acre lot, part of which is wooded in the back, with part of a stream running through it. It really could be beatiful but b/c its never been 'scaped and just allowed to grow naturally, its too much to traverse in.

We really would like to clean it up and clear it out so that we could enjoy it the rest of the year. Its alot of large weeds, weedy trees, vines, etc that will be alot of work to clear out.

1) is it worth it?

2) part of the problem is disposing of all the debris - I can just imagine using like 100 trashbags and hauling it up our back hill to the front street for trash. Was thinking about renting a big chipper from Home Depot.

Any thoughts?
