Have: Clivia seedlings

Hello,

I have two small clivia seedlings. The plants are about a half year old with several leaves. I've lost the plant label so I don't know the variety. I do know its not the COMMON orange. I believe it should be yellow flowers. These plants are small and will require 4 years to bloom. Looking for an outdoor plant for zone 6/7. Tempt me!!!!

Hi John,

I wish I have more to offer you but the only thing that may work for your zone is a winter jasmine I received in a trade.
Our winters are nothing compared to yours so they might do well for you. LMK

You could wade through this site and see if you find anything. They are in the same family as hippeastrums (amaryllis) , so I suggest treating them as I treat amaryllis seedlings - feed and water them now to keep them actively growing until they reach blooming size (which clivianet says is 12 leaves). Hi John,

I'm in the middle of potting up lots of blooming size hellebores - orientalis hybrids in shades of white, pastel and rose - also smaller foetidus seedlings.
