Have: Naked Ladies (surprise lilies)

I have just dug over 200 bulbs, so I need to get these out ASAP. Would love to trade for Iris, Daylilies or Roses...but I will consider sending them for postage, also.

I have lots of tulips,anemones and hyacinth bulbs and seeds but I would love the naked ladies. My bulbs are unders "Tons of Bulbs" but not on my trade site. I mostly have seeds. I would love to trade but if not I would love to SASBE or postal box. Thanks for looking, Sonja

I have 3 babies from Crinum 'Ellen Bosanquet' (Crinum Lily) Sun to Part SunZone: 6b-10 24" tall Origin: Hybrid This is still considered one of the finest crinum lilies for the home garden. This vigorously multiplying hybrid (possibly C. 'JC Harvey' x C. scabrum) was hybridized in Florida during the 1920s by Louis Bosanquet and named after his wife. C. 'Ellen Bosanquet' begins flowering in mid-June and continues through most of the summer. The large, reddish-purple flowers, on 2' stalks, emit a delightful spicy fragrance. The rosette of wavy, glossy, tropical-looking foliage is a great addition to the garden, even without the flowers.

Thanks Carol. I thought I had read they would not bloom a year or so if I moved them, so I really hesitated to try that. They bloomed last year, but maybe the bud was already there~ But I'll fertilize in the spring as you suggest. I don't tend to fertilize my plants much, & this one was no different. I appreciate the botanical names of these too, it can get so confusing. I had asked last year about the difference in lycoris squamigera & amaryllis belladona, wasn't sure whether it was 2 different plants or the same. So I guess mine are Lycoris since I'm in the east :) I received them in trades & believe I received each under a different name. Didn't matter to me, I really enjoy them-when they bloom! clbravo-I have a few of those type too, so far, so good. They seem to have multiplied a bit since I planted them, also 2 years ago I think.

I'm not sure yet what I will have for trade this Spring but if you have any left after trading I would love to have some for postage. I had a few of these but think my husband destroyed them while carrying a transmission over the spot they inhabited and the fluid went all over the ground on the way up the hill. Didn't seem to bother him!
