Planting Strawberries bare root or container

I'm going to start 3 rows of 35' row of bare root strawberries when the weather breaks in mid April. I was wondering if I got them now, potted them in a container, would I be any better off? Or just wait until Spring and plant bare root right in the garden. That would give the strawberries about 12 weeks advance start if I choose to pot them up. I have shop lights I could sit them under. Two rows will be June and the third row is a seascape day neutral.
