Whole lotta questions so bear with me please!

I didn't really see the answers or even the questions I need or have in the FAQs so if I overlooked them forgive me. This fall I plan to do a major rehaul on our bulb bed (raising it up a bit, redesigning the layout, and adding more bulbs).

I plan to dig up the bulbs of which are:

Tulips (some large red w/orange streaks and some all purple)

Daffodils-yellow

Small Tulips (about 8 inches that are red and pointed, possibly "Pinocchio")

Allium Moly

Allium (reg. tall with magenta head but not the huge size)

Iris (dutch bulb, not the rhizome species)

Crocus

The crocus have all just about died back and the foliage is easy to rake away. The problem is if I wait until Fall I might have a hard time finding them to dig up without breaking some. The tulips are also starting to die back. Those darned daffodils are holding strong with their foliage!

I'd like to know if i absolutely have to wait until all the foliage has died back before I dig them up and do a temp. storage until Sept. or Oct.? I just don't want to lose sight of where each one is, especially the crocus, even if i mark each section off.

Also, if I can push the limits, how should I store each type of bulb.

I know I will have some that will wait a year to bloom again so I'm prepped for that with annual and perennial seeds to put in between the foliage.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!! I'm trying to make this dream a reality!
