found a way to sort mixed tulips

Problem: I have several clumps of mixed colors growing and I want to separate the colors. I have too many to tag each one - but that would work.

Also thought of planting in a long row and marking each one next year - but that takes a log of work and an extra year.

I decided to clip the second leaf from the top, and clip each color a different way. So a straight cut is for pinks with white edges, etc.

As long as I dig up before the leaves fall off totally this should work.

If you have a better idea I'd like to hear it.
