Geranium leaves turning maroonish-pink

Help!! I posted this concern in the geranium form and no one has responded, so I am appealing to the Annual Forum to, hopefully, help me.

I just love geraniums and have been growing them for over 25 years. A few weeks ago, I noticed the edges of my geranium leaves turning a maroonish-pink color. Could this be the food the nursery fed it prior to selling. THese are in a plastic pot and I had planned to remove them and plant them separately in my garden, but am wondering if I should proceed.

I have also noticed this occuring with my geraniums that are in clay pots, which I use every year. Might this coloring just be a characteristic of the geranium??? They are all cutting geranium and looking good otherwise.

Any help in diagnosing this mystery will be appreciated
